Seasonal Marquee Erector
Join our welcoming team as a full-time Marquee Erector and become a part of our Summer crew dedicated to creating unforgettable event experiences. This is a short-term contract from May - 30 September.
We specialise in setting up marquees for a range of events, from weddings and private parties to corporate functions, festivals, and sporting events. No two days are the same in this exciting role!
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble and dismantle marquees efficiently and safely
- Load and unload vehicles with marquee equipment and furniture
- Perform general equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure quality and safety
- Assist in furniture deliveries and event setup as required
- Operate with a strong work ethic, embracing long hours when necessary
- Follow a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to maintaining a tidy and organised warehouse space
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 5 years, is preferable
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous experience in marquee erection is advantageous but not essential
- Trailer towing experience is a plus
- Forklift licence or experience considered a valuable asset
- Availability to start work at 6:00 AM daily from our warehouse, GL6 7EW
